Don't Leave Me Now

Block Sistem's one-off studio project is another curious entity from the labyrinthine archives of Italo-Disco.
Originally released on Rabbit Records, "Don't Leave Me Now" was a resounding success at the time, fetching monstrous prices on the used market. The song was recorded in 1983 at Phantom Record Studio in Tortona, the same legendary studio that gave birth to "Radio Cosmo 101" by The One 'O' Ones (1977).

Once again, fans can rejoice in this rare gem, brimming with synthesizer acrobatics, which Best Record has dusted off while preserving the sacredness of the original 12-inch, with a vocal mix on the A-side - by Betti Villani, who achieved fame in 1988 with his Spanish rendition of a Lucio Battisti son - and the instrumental part on the B-side. Further enhancing this sparkling release are the new artwork by the talented Riccardo Corda. A true Best Record-style, not to be missed.
